European nonprofit organization.
Nonprofit organization works in Kazakhstan and Central Asia for more than 10 years. Since 2012, Organization enlarged the local office, extending activities and ongoing projects. These aspects required the Organization to look for an optimal solution to provide a secure and centralized access to corporate email and shared data for their employees, keeping in mind effective usage of resources.
Objectives:
Deploy centralized access to corporate email, intranet portal and file server, secure remote access through VPN connection and centralized management of users and computers.

Result:
To address the goal we employed domain infrastructure based on Microsoft Small Business Server (SBS). Microsoft SBS provided secure and centralized user accounts and computer management, access limitation to data resources. Microsoft Exchange product provided the company with high-quality email service with private domain address, shared address book and calendar, spam protection and dynamic email distribution lists. VPN-access provided secure remote access to the local resources to Client’s users on business trips.
Intranet portal based on Microsoft SharePoint platform extended group work capabilities for employees and external consultants. SharePoint allows to work on various documents of different formats, and provides options to easily discuss the document, track different versions. Provides the users with a shared task list, calendar with an ability to plan group meetings. In addition, intranet portal provides the users a tool to fill-out and submit company forms, and automate simple business-processes based on entered Data.
